Support Request: Kiosk Client status showing Signed off on majority of kiosk machines

Description

Hello I am reaching out because I noticed recently that was not getting email notifications from out Kiosk computers since I have them set to send me any notification if something abnormal would occur. Found out that the devices are all showing as signed off. But I am able to remote into these machines using our other software. I did attach a video of what is the our kiosk computers are showing. The bar would progress all the way through on the "Waiting for windows services to start... Waiting for SiteKiosk Remote Client". I am trying to run a job to close the kiosk software on one machine just to test and see if closing and re-opening the software will fix but am waiting a bit for the job to complete. Would it be possible that I would need to do an uninstall and reinstall of the SiteKiosk Online software as well?

Thank you for your inquiry. Based on your description of this happening suddenly, it sounds more like a security policy change or an action of a security software on the device. Reinstalling may resolve the issue temporarily, but it will be best to confirm any recent changes to your network before reinstalling. You can check Monitoring >>Device>>Logfiles (Event Viewer on the device) for any clues leading up to the stop service.

Hi Andre,

I wanted to let you know I talked with my security team and nothing there was being blocked. I looked in Event Viewer and noticed there were a lot of .NET Runtime errors. After clicking through them they were stating "You must install or update .NET to run this application." Referring to the application SiteKiosk.Remote.Client.Service.exe. Reinstalled the .NET Runtime service and all is working now.
